News : Two,Including Police Constable, Killed in Quetta, Mastung Firing

Occupied Baluchistan: Two persons were shot dead in two separate incidents of firing in Quetta and Mastung districts respectively on Tuesday, officials said.

According to sources, Excise Inspector Haji Azeem was traveling in his car to go home when some unknown armed men ridding a motorcycle opened fire on him near Qambrani Road. He received multiple bullet wounds. Assailants managed to escape from the scene after committing crime. Police rushed to the spot soon after the incident and took the injured to the Sandeman Hospital for autopsy.

Occupied Baluchistan: The Pakistani military’s death squad Sipah-e-Shohad-e-Baluchistan, which the Baluch people has named as Sipah-e-Punjab, continue to killed the Baluch disappeared political activists. Three bodies of Baloch abducted person have been recovered in past 24 hours.

According to details the dead bodies of Zuhaib Roudini and Khan Mohammad Baluch were found in Fairozabad area near Khuzdar on Satruday (14.08-2010). The relative of these Baluch martyrs have said that they were abducted by the Pakistani Para-military forces from Khuzdar some weeks ago. Eye-witnesses said that the victims had been severely torture prior to their death.

News : Flood water diverted towards Balochistan: Three towns under water and more in danger

Dera Allahyar, the district headquarters of Jaffarabad, Rojhan Jamali, Sohbatpur and adjoining areas were inundated on Sunday after the Quetta-Jacobabad highway and the Jamali bypass were breached by the Sindh administration to save the town of Jacobabad and the nearby Shahbaz airbase, diverting floodwaters towards Balochistan.

Balochistan’s road and rail links with Sindh and Punjab have been snapped with floodwaters flowing over the railway track and road.

Occupied Balochistan: Sarmachars of Baloch Liberation Army attacked FC and tribal force's combined check post in Barkhan and chamalang. The attack reportedly resulted in killing of eight Pakistani security personnel.

Spokesperson of Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility of the attack on Pakistani forces and the pro-government Lashakr via satellite phone to news agencies. While talking to NNI the spokesperson has also claimed the responsibility for blowing up electricity towers in Kahan.

News : Gunmen kill 10 including five security officials in Balochistan bus attack

Occupied Balochistan: Unknown gunmen killed ten people including five Pakistani security personnel near Much Bolan area of occupied Balochistan. The incident occurred on Saturday morning when a Quetta-Lahore bound bus carrying passengers and Pakistani security forces personnel was attacked.

According to BBC Urdu unknown armed stopped the bus at gunpoint near Aab-e-Gum near district Bolan, Balochistan. The armed men after checking the identity cards of passengers off loaded ten passengers including five security personnel and started shooting at them as a result ten men including five security officials were killed and two were wounded.

News : BLA claimed responsibility of attack on Police officials in Quetta

Occupied Balochistan: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed the responsibility for the attack on the police check post in Quetta, in which three police personnel were killed.

Calling from an unspecified location, a man, Jehind Baloch, who introduced himself as a spokesman for the BLA, claimed responsibility for the assault, saying that it was a reaction to a statement by the Quetta police chief, as well as the continuous recovery of bullet-riddled bodies of those who had been kept in illegal detention by government functionaries. The spokesman also claimed responsibility for a grenade attack in Hub.

News : Several rockets fired in Baluchistan, seven killed

Occupied Baluchistan: The security situation in Balochistan is threatening to spiral out of control as three rocket attacks in Quetta, and blasts in Khuzdar, Gwadar, Mastung and some other areas of Balochistan spread panic amongst the people of the province on Friday.

The first rocket landed on Masoom Shah Street close to the residence of Balochistan Home Secretary Akbar Hussein Durrani next to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. A constable identified as Lal Mohammad and a six-year-old passerby Mohammad Umer suffered splinter wounds. Durrani remained unhurt in the attack.

More than 300 Baloch freedom and civil rights activists have been involuntarily and forcibly disappeared in Balochistan by the Pakistani state secret services since the advent of the civilian government of Pakistan Peoples Party, according to the lead organization working to help the victim families in Quetta, capital of Balochistan.

"This year there have been 50 cases, in addition to the seven bodies that have been found so far," Nasrullah Baloch, president of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, said on phone from Quetta.

News : Armed criminals attacked BNF rally in Karachi, one injured, peoples’ Aman Committee responsible: Baloch parties

Karachi: Baloch National Front’s members have been attacked by unknown persons when they were celebrating the Independence Day of Balochistan on 11th august in Lyari,Karachi. According to details Baloch National Fornt organized a rally to celebrate the Independence Day of Balochistan. As the rally set off some unknown armed persons tried to prevent the Baloch masses from joining the Independence Rally, hoisting the flag of independent Balochistan and chanting slogans against Pakistan. When Baloch youth refused to follow their instructions, the armed men restored to aerial gunfire to disperse the crowd. As a reaction of firing the outrageous local residents came out of their houses and started chanting slogans against the Pakistan State as well as against the armed persons. After facing strong retaliations from the crowd the armed criminals left the area. However moments later more than 30 armed men repapered in in Kalari Ali Mohammad Mohallah and starting shooting in the air once again. They also warned the residents of the village that they should not talk of BLA and BNM anymore.

On the 63rd anniversary of Baluchistan's declaration of independence, Hayrbyar Marri, a prominent leader of the Baluch cause, speaks in an exclusive interview about one of the world's most forgotten conflicts. "There is only one point to negotiate with Pakistan—insists Marri—and that's the unconditional withdrawal of all occupation forces."

Mr. Marri's manner is slow and reserved and he stares directly into the eyes of his interviewer. One may feel somewhat uncomfortable initially, but soon realizes that his attitude is not defiant, rather it reflects the style of traditional Baluch leadership. In fact, we've seen him smile before the interview when he told us about his recent fatherhood, and again when he expressed regret over not having brought a certain copy of the New York Times along—the very one that announced Baluchistan's declaration of independence 63 years ago today.

Occupied Baluchistan: A former district president of Balochistan National Party (BNP-Awami), Attaullah Baloch, was shot dead in Khuzdar on Tuesday night.

In another attack four people were seriously injured in Panjgur town. Sources said that Mr Baloch was riddled with bullets at MunirAhmad Mengal Road by some gunmen riding a motorbike when he was on way home in his vehicle.

News : Hundreds marooned in Balochistan due to flooding

Hundreds of people, women and children among them, were marooned in Bala Nari area of Bolan district after Nari River burst its banks at several points because of flooding triggered by torrential rains in Harnai and Ziarat areas on Tuesday.

People of the area have called for immediate rescue efforts by the army to save families in Ari town as floodwater was rising rapidly, posing a serious threat to other villages in the next 24 hours. The people have taken refuge at rooftops of their houses and waiting for their rescue.

Expressing his anger on the recent killings of Baluch youth he said that Intelligence Agencies of Pakistan are intentionally killing Baluch youth in their captivity to weaken the Baluch liberation struggle. The occupying force are repeating the brutal history of Chile and Argentine's “Dirty War” against their political opponents and oppressed people of Baluchistan. In the 60s and 70s the Chilean and Argentinian military and Para-military [police] forces' “death squads” have extra judicially disappeared and brutally murdered thousands of people who were asking for their rights.

News : Bullet riddled bodies of two Baluch disappeared persons recovered in Quetta

Occupied Baluchistan: Two bullet-riddled bodies of missing Baloch people were found in Quetta on Friday morning.

According sources the bodies were recovered from Killi Khali area of Brewery Road. The bodies’ hands and feet were tied. The local police moved the bodies to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital for autopsy. Hospital sources said the bodies had been shot in the heads and had clear marks of violence. The bodies were identified as Bahar Khan Bangulzai, a resident of Faizabad, Sariab Road and Gulam Qadir Marri, who had been missing for a month. The deceased Bahar Khan's father, Baig Muhammad Bangulzai, said that his son was whisked away by Pakistani Para-military personnel from Ghai Khan Chowk on June 31,2010. He said he had filed a petition in the Balochistan High Court and nominated the security agencies for abducting his son, but the court has failed to provide him justice.
