QUETTA: Family members of missing persons staged a protest demonstration outside the Quetta Press Club on Sunday.

The protestors were carrying placards inscribed with slogans demanding the immediate recovery of missing Baloch political workers.

Nasrullah Baloch, chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, led Sunday’s protest.

The protesters announced that women and children would launch a long march on March 13 if their missing family members were not recovered.

The protesters also claimed that intelligence agencies had picked up their family members when they approached police stations for registration of FIRs of those who had already been missing. — DawnNews

Gull Baig Bugti says his son has been abducted by Pakistani security forces

Open in new windowQuetta: Gull Baig Bugti has said that his son Babo Nauroz Mohammad has been abducted from the office of Director of Education (in Quetta) by Pakistani security forces few days ago. He said he and his family have no knowledge of the whereabouts of Babo Bugti and well being. He revealed this in a press conference at Quetta press Club here on Sunday. Babo Nauroz Ahamd and his teacher Saeed Bugti had been whisked away by Pakistan’s intelligence agencies for crime that they did not commit. He said his son’s life was in danger because he was not feeling well period to his abduction.

“We’re poor people. My son has no affiliations with any political party and my family members are government servant but still the intelligence agencies are teasing us and they are picking up our family members”.

He appealed to Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan, Chief of Army staff, Chief Justice of Balochistan, Governor Balochistan, Chief Minister Balochistan and the Corp Commander of Balochistan to use their influence to make sure the safe and early release of Babo Nauroz Bugti and his teacher Saeed Bugti.
