News : Balochistan situation further deteriorated after Khuzdar incident

Occupied Balochistan: Unknown persons shot dead police inspector in another incident of target killing here Wednesday. According to details, Inspector Arif Ali Shah was going in his car on Sirki road when unknown persons riding a motorcycle opened fire on him in which he sustained serious injuries. He was shifted to civil hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The dead official was the SP investigation in City Police station in Quetta. He survived a bid on his life earlier when he was working as the SHO Browry Rodad Police Sation. Police and FC personnel reached the hospital. Unknown persons however made good their escape from the scene.

2 killed three injured in Khuzdar: One worker was killed and three injured in an incident of firing here Wednesday. According to details unknown persons entered in a house in Asadabad area here today. They opened indiscriminate fire on the workers living in the said house. As a result one Sadaqat was killed and Imran, Bilal and Muhammad Irfan were injured. Police reached the site and removed the dead and injured to civil hospital. Police said that these persons belonged to Multan and worked as shuttering workers.

Meanwhile another a man was killed at Chandni chowk here Wednesday. According to details, unknown persons opened fire on a man at Chandni chowk he died on the spot as a result of firing. His dead body could not be identified. Angry people have also injured a police man Muhammad Hashim at Masjid road by pelting stones on him. Hide and seek between police and protestors continued during the day.

Separately in Sui Dega Bugti one man have been killed and another sustained injuries in a land-mine blast. Hand grenades were hurled at Naal and Surab police stations but no loses of lives have been reported in these attacks.

Meerak Baloch of BLA has claimed the responsibility of killing a government spy in Khuzdar and heralding a hand grenade on Surab police station.

A convoy of FC (frontier Corps) was ambushed by BLF (Baloch Liberation Front) fighters in district Mashky’s pakkea region on Tuesday. According government reports three officials including an inspector were injured in this attack. On the contrary, BLF claimed to have killed 19 security officials. BLA spokesman colonel Doda Baloch accepted the responsibility for the attack and said such attacks on Pakistani security forces will continue till the freedom of Balochistan.

Explosion in Turbat injures two security personnel : Two security personnel were injured in a remote-controlled explosion in Balochistan province’s Turbat town

The explosion occurred in Turbat’s Gwak area and the injured personnel were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, unknown assailants set ablaze a tanker in Khuzdar’s Wadh tehsil.

Separately, a vehicle owned by the Ministry of Population Welfare was also burnt in Khuzdar city.

Sporadic incidents of violence have been reported from different parts of Balochistan on the eve of a shutter-down strike against the killing of two Baloch Students Organisation – Azad’s activists in Khuzdar on March 2.
