Baloch youth should record all the violent actions of Pakistan's occupation forces and spread them on net in order to counter Pakistani biased media's propagandas against Baloch freedom struggle: Banuk Karima Baloch

Turbat/Karachi: BSO-azaad organised a conference on "Changing National and International situations and the significance of media propaganda", in Thump town of Balochistan. BSO-azaad Thump president Hammal Baloch chaired the meeting while Central vice chairperson of BSO-A Banuk Karima Baloch and Beebgar Baloch had been invited as chief guests.

Addressing the gathering the BSO (A) leaders have made it clear that parliamentarian politics was not a curse but sitting in parliament of the occupying state [Pakistan] is national treachery against Balochland and Baloch people. They said National liberation can only be regained through resistance and agitation. “After securing our Independence we’ll happily go to Balochistan parliament because there we will discuss our own problems and make decision according our free will for the benefit of our people. Balochistan’s parliament will be sovereign, no outsiders [colonial powers] will dictate us or impose their decisions on us”, said the BSO leaders.

They said media’s significant cannot be denied but unfortunately foreign media (Pakistani media) reports which suggest that Balochistan was an internal issue of Pakistan, are justifying Pakistan’s occupation on Baloch land and they are trying to deceive the world through false propagandas. They accused the so called Baloch representatives in Pakistani parliament ‘who have been demanding for autonomy and control over resources or Balochistan coast’ as anti independent Balochistan.

The BSO (A) leaders urged the Baloch youth everywhere in Balochistan to take video footages of the Pakistan’s occupying security forces’ atrocities in Balochistan, whenever they have a chance to do so. Spread these footages on internet and send them to different International news channels. This is the only way Baloch can counter the state controlled media in Pakistan and let the world know about the gross human rights violation in Balochistan.

Banuk Karima Baloch and other leaders have also answered the question of activists during question and answer session. Ghulam Mustafa Baloch, Banuk Sammi Baloch, Balaach Baloch, Guwahram Baloch and Banuk Shabana Baloch have also addressed the gathering.

Meanwhile another educational session was organised in Malir area of Karachi by BSO (A) activists. Jawad Baloch chaired the meeting which was observed in the memory of Comrade Amir Bux Baloch (Sagaar-e Baloch). The conference was initiated with two minute silence in the memory of Baloch martyrs and Baloch National anthem. Different aspects of organisational structure and Baloch issues were discussed in the meeting and a portion of the lecture programme was also dedicated to question and answer session.

Talking on subject “Naseer Khan Noori’s Balochisatn” Imran Baloch said that Mir Naseer Khan Noori was the only Baloch ruler who united the people of Balochistan and said that everywhere the Baloch majority reside is the land of Baloch people [is Balochistan].

Sangat Karim Baloch said that youth have played significant roles and are back bone of revolutionary movements in world, and that is why the Baloch youth have an important responsibility in today’s Baloch liberation struggle. Sajjad Baloch talked about the organisational structure, regular meetings and the importance/ need of discussion on organisational structure by Baloch students Organisation.

Sangat Sameer Baloch spoke of Baloch political issues and the current confusions that are being spread by the state and the anti-Independence parties. He said phrases like control over Baloch coast, autonomy etc are just to create confusion in the mind of dedicated Baloch activists who are determined to struggle of National liberation only. He also said that Baloch struggle was against occupation of their land and to regain their freedom and Baloch freedom fighters should not be called separatists.

Abid Baloch in his speech discussed the historical background of Balochistan and compared the past struggles with the current Independence struggle. He said that today’s liberation struggle is like a tree which the Baloch martyrs of freedom has watered with their blood [and the Baloch Nation need to look after this tree and don’t let it die. Until it’s ripened and started giving fruits].

Jhangir Baloch while talking about the importance and background of Balochi language said that Balochi Language has a historical background and it is one of the oldest languages. To mix Balochi language with other neighbouring languages would be a historical blunder.

Sangat Frooq Baloch explained the difference between insurgency and National struggles for freedom. He said Baloch National struggle was a political and ideological movement and Baloch liberation movement should not be described as an insurgency or revolt.

At the end of the meeting Jawad Baloch spoke of the importance of such organisational gatherings and made it clear to the activists that until they do not fully perform their national responsibilities they cannot benefit the Baloch independence movement. He said when the members take oath that they will not hesitate to give any sacrifices for Baloch cause, that mean should be ready for all sorts of sacrifices. The meeting was warped up after a session of constructive criticism to rectify any weaknesses and mistakes of the past and emphasised to work according Organisational principles from now on.
