The defiance movement so far has been peaceful and demanding to an end to Pakistani atrocities in Balochistan. The organisers of the defiance movement say that the aim of their movement is to raise the issue of missing Baloch on National and International level and to let the International Community know about the Pakistani and Iranian atrocities against the people of Balochistan.
On the other hand BNM and BRP have also been protesting against the illegal arrests and the ongoing military operation in Balochistan. As recently as yesterday the BRP has protested in front of Noshki press club against the arrest of their members and other thousands of Baloch. The BRP has also strongly protested against the attitude of Rehman Malik saying that his allegation against party leader Brahumdagh Bugti were nothing but lies.
