Open in new windowBalochistan/Karachi: BNM (Baloch National Movement and Baloch Student Organisation (azaad) has protested in front of Karachi press club. The protest demanded the immediate recovery of Baloch missing person including, Dr Deen Mohammd Baloch, Zakir Majeed Baloch, Chakar Qamber Baloch, Jail Regi, Chakar Qambarani, Fazal Sher, Nako Faiz Baloch, Mujeed Baloch, Mushtaq Baloch, Qabeer Baloch, and other thousands of Baloch political and student activists. The participants of the demonstration chanted slogans against the Pakistani state sponsored abductions of Baloch activists in Balochistan. They also chanted slogans in favour of Baloch resistance Organisations. They demand of the UN to take notice of forced disappearance in Balochistan and take action against Pakistani state’s atrocities against Baloch people.

Across Balochistan: Sit ins, rallies, token hunger strikes and boycotting of classes took in different places from all over Balochistan, these protests were against the illegal abductions and filing false cases against the students activists by the secret agencies of Pakistan.

According to received reports, a rally was organized in Panjgur against the abduction of Zakir Majeed (Senior Vice chairperson B.S.O.(Azaad)), Dr. Deen Muhammed, Qamber Chaker, Farid Baloch, Najeeb Naosherwani Baloch, Mustaq Baloch and thousands of other disappeared activists and innocent people. A large number of people participated in this rally. While in Makuran token hunger strikes and protests were organized in Mand, Turbat and Tump, and classes were boycotted in Balochistan University, Bolan Medical College, Degree College and Poly Technical Institute, in Quetta.

The central representatives of B.S.O. (Azaad) in a statement said that Pakistan has started a campaign to prove B.S.O. (Azaad) as a militant organization, but we want to make this clear that B.S.O. (Azaad) does morally support the Freedom fighters of Balochistan but the organization itself is working politically to bring awareness among the Baloch masses. The claim of the security agencies of recovering weapons from Fazal Sher and Qamber Chaker are nothing but false accusations to justify the inhuman torture and gross human right violations against the people of Balochistan.

Meanwhile a rally was organized by B.S.O. (Azaad) in Turbat, where a large number of people participated including the Family members of Qamber Chaker. The participants held banners and posters stating “struggle till the independence of Balochistan” and photo’s of the abducted people. The rally passed through various roads and reached at Fida Shaheed Chowk, where the protestors blocked the road and held a sit in demonstration. The organizers while addressing the crowd, in their speeches they mentioned that Pakistan is kidnapping a Baloch student on consecutive days and then keeps them in the torture cells for years, such steps of Pakistan are nothing but “State sponsored Terrorism”.

Separately a protest was organized in front of Pasni press club, where the protestors chanted slogans in favour Independence of Balochistan and were holding placards, one of which read, “I have only heard that there were human rights activists in this world”.
A protest rally was also organized jointly by Buleda and Zamuran zone. Hundreds of Balochs including the members of Baloch National Movement join the rally to show their support and sympathy for the missing Baloch. The rally peacefully dispersed at Head Quarter Butt. The regional representatives of B.S.O. (Azaad) in their speeches stated that they don’t expect justice from Pakistani state, and they appealed the United Nations and other Human rights organizations to take notice of the atrocities of Pakistan in Balochistan.

Protests were also held in Mand, Maskay and Gawadar, which too signified the popularity of the Baloch nation’s movement for Independence, with a large number of participants.
