Open in new windowBalochistan Pakistan has renewed the ban on Baloch political, cultural and musical websites. It is a shame on one hand paksitani government make big claims about FREEDOM OF PRESS AND EXPRESSON on the hand they have blocked all BALOCH WEB SITE FROM VIEWING IN PAKISTAN. It is widely believed that Paksitani authorities have blocked Baloch websites to hide its gross human rights violation in Balochistan.

This must also be taken in consideration that there has been predictions of a massive military operation in Balochistan from time to time by the Baloch activists working for freedom, and these predictions seem to be true after observing the consecutive steps of Pakistan army, which include the abduction and target killing of the Baloch student and political leaders and attempts to show the Baloch activists to the world as Taliban militants, so that the mass murder of freedom loving Baloch people can be justified in the name of so called "War on Terror".

The Baloch web pages which are blocked are not only political web pages, but cultural sites have also been victimized, which can be viewed as an attempt to weaken the efforts of Baloch people to promote their language, music, literature and national identity.

The following Baloch websites have been blocked in Pakistan. It must be noted that some of the websites were already blocked in Pakistan since 2005 during Musharraf’s period. The PPP government has just renewed the ban following Musharraf's policies in Balochistan. We should remind Pakistan that the voices of truth and justice cannot be silenced at gunpoint. The Baloch youth inside and outside Balochistan will continue to expose Pakistan and Iran’s atrocities against the people of Balochistan at all cost. Baloch struggle for national liberation cannot be weaken by such acts of the brutal states of Iran and Pakistan.
