*Writer should write for a change in society; Professor Hasan Janan
*Eyes of imperialists are on Balochistan; professor Saba Dashtyari
Noshki: “Writers and artist belong to the sensitive part of the society and they must write and speak on sensitive issue. To serve the society we need to go though different processes and they sometimes can be very difficult. But after passing through these difficult processes we can be an example in the society and can make a change for good. Hasan Janan Badini has worked for truth and justice”. These views were expressed by professor Saba Dashtiyari at a seminar titled “Raskoh writer’s forum”. The seminar was organised to honour professor Hasan Janan and his sacrifices for the Baloch cause. Others who spoke included professor Hasan Janan Badini, Professor Rafiq Ahamd, Ghamkhuwar Hiyat from Raskoh writer’s forum, maulana Rasheef Hamdam and Zahoor zeb.

Professor Saba Dashtiyari said that the imperialist powers have their eyes on Balochistan and we need work for awareness in Baloch society. In order to sabotage the Baloch National movement the state has continuously given rise to corruption. Hasan Janan Badini knows that Baloch nation have been enslaved and their national wealth and land have been occupied.

Professor Hasan Janan Badini said that “I did not commit any crime but I performed my National duty”. Writers should not only write but they should explain the sensitivity of sensitive issues. He said they should bring a change in the society with the power of their pen.

Professor Rafiq Ahmad has said that Hasan Janan Badini has been jailed and tortured only for using his pen for truth and justice. He said that “we know Noshki because of Hasan Janan now on, who has strong feeling for the Baloch nation”.

Ghamkhuwar of Raskoh writers’ forum said that “our culture, language and land have been occupied. How the prisoner of pen and criminal of words Hasan Janan Badini was sent from the world of literature to prison, and we should also know that Mir Gull Khan Naseer was also imprisoned because of the power of his pen. History can only be made through sacrifices. Writer should only write about truth and justice”.

Additional information: professor Hasan Janan Badini was arrested on 25-08-2008, from his teachers hostel and released without any charges on 27-06-2009 almost after 275 days of illegal imprisonment at the hands of Pakistani security forces.
