News : Balochistan: Two men shot dead in Quetta, Kalat and five vehicles set on fire in Turbat

Open in new windowQuetta: masked motorcyclists shot dead a school teacher Mr Anwar Baig in Kalat twon in Balochistan here on Saturday. Sources reported that Mr Baig was on his way to school when he was attacked. He died on the spot. In a separate incident unknown men have thrown a hand grenade on a private school in Shahbaz town in Quetta. The blast damaged the roof of the school but no causulty have been reported.

On the other hand unknown men have set five vehicles on fire in sensitive area B & R colony in Turbat town. According to details unknown men have set 5 vehicles of a non-government organisation (NCHB) and managed to flee from the scene.

Basham Baloch of BLF has informed the news agencies that fighters of BLF have fired five rockets on an FC camp in Panjgur town in Balochistan which resulted heavy lose to the Pakistani security personal. He vowed that such attacks on the Pakistani security forces will continue until the independence of Balochistan.

One of the spokespersons of BLA Mr Azaad Baloch claimed the responsibility for the target killing of Jangal Khan Marri in Quetta and teacher Anwar Baing in Kalat. He said that fighters from his organisation have killed Mr Jangal Khan Marri in Quetta because he was spying against Baloch Freedom Fighters and collaborating with the Pakistani intelligence agencies. Azaad Baloch said that the they have killed the school teacher Anwar Baig because he was against the reciting of Baluchistan’s National anthem in School and he did not wanted to hoist Baluchistan’s flag. He said that Baloch resistance organisation have already warned that anyone who spies against Baloch fighters will be targeted and same will happen to those teachers who are against the recitation of Baluchistan’s National anthem in schools. He repeated that there is still time for such people to fix their wrongs and mince their ways.
