Turbat: BNF (Baloch National Front) held a massive public gathering in the memory of the Martyrs of Murghab. Thousands of people from all over Balochistan and Sindh have come to pay their respects and tribute to the Martyrs of Balochistan. According to a rough estimate over Forty thousand people attended the memorial and remembrance gathering. Speaking at the occasion the leaders of BNF said that Baloch people do not belong to Pakistan. Baloch National struggle is for independence only. They said that no one will be allowed to hijack the Baluch freedom struggle. While paying rich tributes to the martyrs of nation they said that Baloch martyrs have laid their lives for independent Balochistan. The speakers said that Baloch Nation should boycott the products of Punjab and Baloch should resign from government jobs in order to make the government system collapse.
Speaking at the occasion BNM’s vice president Asa Zafar said that Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, Shaheed Lala Munir Baloch and Shaheed Sher Mohammad Baloch have sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty and independence of Balochistan. The sacrifices of the Baloch martyrs have got the Baluch closer to their destination. He said that the Baloch have no relation with the occupying state because Baloch have their own culture, literature and language. Praising the Baluch resistence movements he said that they are the National army of Balochistan. BSO (azaad’s) senior vice chairman Mr Zakir Majid Baloch said Baloch nation wants nothing less than Independence. "The enemy should read the writing on the wall". He too like previous speakers has paid tributes to the Baloch Martyrs.
BNM’s Khalil Baloch said that the Baluch Nation was proud of the Baluch National army “Baloch Sarmachaarsâ€. He said that the Baloch who are engaged in armed struggle have sacrificed everything for the sake of Balochistan and for a prosperous future of Baloch nation. He stated that Baloch sarmachaars have made mountains their living place only to rotect Balochistan. He said if we cannot do anything for the Baloch freedom fighters, at least we can salute them and pray for their success and safety. He believed that the Baloch freedom fighters would be successful to complete their mission. The sacrifices of Baloch martyrs have taught every Baloch child the difference between slavery and freedom, he said. Meanwhile BNM’s Dr Manan Baloch said that Baluch started the struggle for national liberation that is why we do not mourn the death of our National Martyrs. He said “we are proud of our national heroes who have laid their precious lives for independence of Balochistanâ€. Talking about BNM he said “BNM is still organised and strong as before, we will spread Ghulam Mohammad Baloch’s message of freedom to every house, hut and streetâ€. He said that we have faith that the sacrifices of the Martyrs will not go in vain.
BSO’s central vice chairperson Ms Karima Baloch said that Baloch are struggling for National liberation and the struggle will continue until Baluchistan’s name reappear on the map of world as an independent country. She said that Baloch are carrying out the liberation struggle, which has the full support of the entire Baloch Nation. She said that Baloch soldiers and leadership have embraced martyrdom in the way of national independence but they sacrifices have got us closer to our goal. She pointed out that before Ghulam Mohammad Baloch and his comrades embraced martyrdom - Nawab Bugti, Balach marri, Dr Khalid Baloch, Dilshad Baloch and Comander Saddo Marri and many others have laid their lives for National freedom. She said the sacrifices of Baloch martyrs have given recognition to Baloch struggle for liberation on international level. “We have faith that struggle for independence will be successful this time.†She remarked. She said that Baloch nation would not have to wait for long to see independent Balochistan.
Naila Qadri of BRP said that after the martyrdom of Ghulam Mohammad Baloch and his companions, it has become clear for everyone in Balochistan that what actually the real issue in Balochistan was. She praised the Baloch women for taking part in National liberation struggle and urged the Baloch women to join the Baluch struggle for freedom. She said today Baloch are politically aware about their rights. The Baluch recognise their friends and foes that is why they cannot be deceived by any so called nationalists.
