News : Explosion rocks Quetta FIA office, damages building

QUETTA: A powerful explosion rocked Quetta in the early hours of Friday. The explosion took place near Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) office. No casualties have been reported.

Khalid Masood, a police official, told DawnNews that the explosion took place on Samunguli road outside FIA office. He said the explosion was caused due to detonation of an explosive device.

Masood said the explosion caused no casualties, but smashed the windowpanes of the FIA office and nearby buildings.

Police have cordoned off the area and have launched an investigation

Watchman killed by landmine blast in Sui

A watchman of a gas pipeline was killed and two others were injured in a landmine explosion in Sui on Thursday night.

According to sources, Kokhab Bugti was killed in the explosion near Sheikh Colony. The injured were admitted to the hospital.
