Open in new window Balochistan: Baloch Women Penal and BSO (azaad & Mohiudeen) annouced Balochistan protection rally on 27 March 2009. 27 March is the day when Pakistan occupied the Independent state of Balochistan at gunpoint. Baloch have been struggling to restore their sovereignty ever since. Since the occupation many thousands of Baloch men, women and children have been killed and thousands disappeared.

The army operation still continues in Balochistan and according Baloch patriots groups 6000 of their activists are either missing or behind bars involved in fabricated cases by Pakistani authorities.

The rally is meant to sympathize with families of missing persons, support the Baloch Freedom struggle and to tell the International community about the "slow motion but continues genocide" of Baloch Nation.

Ever since the occupation of Baochistan the International community have ignored the atrocities of Iranian and Pakistani authorities in against Baloch people. Some western counties not only ignored the genocide of Baloch Nation but provided Pakistan with latest militray equipment, fighter jets and latest lethal weapons to fight against secular Baloch forces.

Even though the weapons have been given to Pakistan to fight against the Islamic extremists and al-qaeeda but Pakistan have used those weapons to kill innocent Baloch civilians.

Marri Itehad and BNP (Mengal) have announced their full support for the rally of BSO and Baloch Women Panel. They appealed to all Baloch political parties to join the rally and make it successful.

Baloch Warna too appeals to all Baloch political, student and social organizations to join the rally to protect Balochistan and save Baloch National identity and language from extinction. We also appeal to Baloch diapora please organize protest rallies and meeting on 27 March and bring the plight of Baloch National into the attention of International community and International organization i.e UN, EU other Human Rights Organization.
