QUETTA: two trucks were targeted in coal rich area Chamalang, two security personal injured. Whereas Baloch freedom fighters have opened fire at Frontier Corps personnel in Dera Bugti and Mastung area, leaving five dead and several injured.
According to details, the Baloch militants attacked two trucks that were taking coal from Balochistan chamalang area to Punjab as a result, two security personas were killed and the trucks were destroyed. Whereas in another attack near kahan three soldiers have been killed when their check post came under attack by the baloch freedom fighters.
Meanwhile a spokesman of militant organization Baloch Liberation Army, Beebarg Baloch claimed the responsibility of the attacks and said that they have targeted the trucks.
He warned all transporters/transport owners that they should avoid working in Chamalang; otherwise, they will be targeted again. He further said that people who are sitting in parliament they are the enemy of Baloch Nation especially the PML-Q are equality responsible for the genocide of Baloch people. Mr. Beebragh said the Pakistani occupier are looting our wealth, selling it to foreign countries and getting arms to kill our people.
Moreover, three Pakistani soldiers were killed and five injured in another attack in Pelawag areas of Dera Bugti. A 16 inch portion of gaspipeline was blowing up in RD230 area of Sui, due to which the gas supply to Punjab once again has been suspended. The spokesperson of Baloch Republican Army Sarbaz Baloch has claimed the responsibility for the attack on FC check post.
In a separate incident Baloch freedom fighters attack a patrolling team of Frontier Corp personnel near Cadet College Mastung leaving six constables seriously injured.
Walls of a police station were demaged in a powerfull bomb blast in Thump area of district kech. However, no loss of life has been reported in the explosion.
Another Baloch Journalist abducted by ISI in Khuzdar
QUETTA: A Baloch journalist and his colleague went missing in Khuzdar district in the early hours of Friday, as his friends held intelligence agencies responsible for his sudden disappearance. Sources said Javed Lehri, 24, a journalist working with Quetta-based Daily Azadi, and his friend Ibrahim Baloch were allegedly picked up by some intelligence personnel while returning home in the Wadh tehsil of Khuzdar district.
It was learnt that besides journalism, Lehri, a third year bachelors student, was also an active member of the Baloch Students Organisation (BSO). Akbar Mengal, a leader of the Balochistan National Party (BNP), condemned Lehri’s ‘sudden disappearance’. He feared that the journalist would be put in a detention center like “thousands of other Balochs presently languishing in state torture cells”.
